About Bender's Oil Service Inc

Charles, Ron, and Kurt Bender were thrilled when Joe Russo (Arnold Bender’s grandson), and Carl Bender (a Bender cousin), expressed an interest in continuing the family tradition. Both of these men are lifelong Lebanon residents who come to Bender’s Oil with the experience of running successful businesses (Russo Trucking and Bender’s Construction). They have officially joined the management team at Bender’s Oil Service as of September 2012.

To ensure a smooth transition for the company, and most importantly, for our customers, the five men will continue to work together as Joe and Carl learn and take over more and more of the business. Bender’s Oil Service is extremely proud to continue its tradition of offering honest, personalized business with excellent products and expert services. In fact, we’ll put our name on it.

For 30 years, Bender’s Oil was run by three of Art and Helen Bender’s sons, Charles, Ron, and Kurt Bender. During this time, as the business continued to grow, they added more oil trucks/drivers and servicemen. But, even with this growth, the ideals of honest, personalized business, expert service, and community commitment has been the ultimate goal.

Most recently, as these three men got closer to retirement age, thoughts turned to who would run the oil business with the same Bender’s Oil Service ideals.

Twelve years later, with the business growing, Arnold asked his brother, Art Bender, to join him. Art’s wife, Helen, went to work for Bender’s Oil as their bookkeeper and Arnold’s son-in-law, Roland Russo, joined as an oil truck driver. Bender’s Oil continued to grow and became well known for its honest business practices and commitment to the community.

Sixty-six years ago, Arnold Bender bought an oil truck with the intent of starting an oil business. He didn’t have any set customers, but he got a load of oil and drove around selling the oil. When that truckload was gone, Arnold got another load of oil and repeated the process. Bender’s Oil Service was born.
